**Description:**This workshop is designed for students in 6th grade and up. Introduction to Number Theory from Art of Problem Solving is used as the text book. The following concepts are covered during the 17-week workshop:

6. Special Numbers

7. Algebra With Integers

8. Base Numbers

9. Base Number Arithmetic

10. Units Digits

11. Decimals and Fractions

12. Introduction to Modular Arithmetic

13. Divisibility Rules

14. Linear Congruences

15. Number Sense

She regrets that she didn't have opportunities to learn hard math when she was in middle school.

**Prerequisites and Requirements**

- A lot of homework is assigned in this workshop. Students and parents need to understand the

effort involved and need to be willing to make the effort.

**Date and Time:**7pm - 9pm, Fridays, 8/17 - 12/14/2018, no lesson on 11/23 for Thanksgiving

• A discount of $40 will be applied to the second child from the same family.
