**Description:**This workshop is designed for students in 6th grade and up. Introduction to Counting and Probability by David Patrick from Art of Problem Solving is used as the text book. The following concepts are covered during the 17-week workshop:

**Instructor:**Matthew Kroesche

very young and has been actively participating math contests. His team won 23rd in 2018 Putnam

Competition. Mr. Matthew has also been very active in math education. He lead a Texas HMMT team

for a few years and served as the coach of Texas ARML team in 2018.

- All of the review problems and non starred challenge problems will be assigned as homework.

Students and parents need to understand the effort involved for the workshop and need to be

willing to make the effort.
